In case you have been missing out, our LED Christmas Wreath has been “virally” spreading over the internet without our knowledge. Some people are even making money off our videos but we like it since it’s being virally spread everywhere.

Well, we just wanted you to know that this can be made by simply following our direction here.

Christmas Wreath made from computer parts!

We picked up some free PC parts from a nearby garbage dumpster the other day. Maybe we can
put it to use by making something like this…

There was a CPU and keyboard that were damaged beyond repair, sitting in the basement waiting to be disposed of. I wired the pieces to a wire wreath form and hot glued some of the pieces.

It felt great making something, I didn’t realize going back to school to get a Masters while working full time would be so time consuming. I need to learn to take more crafting breaks for my sanity.

Zedomax DIY123 - HOW TO make a Christmas LED wreath!

We were thinking that we could make another last minute DIY for that uses a Ryobi FAN from
Home Depot, high output LEDs, and an embedded computer. Although we have been spending
way too much time making DIYs and not working, we are glad we did make a cool Christmas
LED Wreath we are proud of. The video by the way did not capture the real effect because of
the frame rate of the camera but the pictures can be seen… Merry Leddy Christmas! :)
