Wow, one day we will be able to carry our cellphones with Word documents, presentations, and then we goto the meeting with this guy.
Unlike traditional projectors, the Pico Projector “prototype uses red, green, and blue lasers and a digital micromirror array (ultraminiaturized DLP technology) to pump out a bright picture.” Video after the break. Click here for additional images.
Let there be light
Now this is a really neat little idea that could put some light on the subject! This torch is merely a nine volt battery with the business end of a torch fixed onto to it, this is one of those things that everyone could have made, but never got around to it.

These are handy to place in cupboards and drawers for emergencies as they do not take up much room. The torch bit has the light and a handy switch for turning it off; there are some devices that do not have this feature, so it is quite a neat idea.
Cost id expected to be around $10, not sure if battery included or not!

Having trouble what to have for lunch?
This must be a problem for many all around the world, with so many places to eat, how can you possibly make that serious decision?

This is the What’s For Lunch Decision Spinner, which takes all of the hassle out of having to decide for yourself. Let the spinner pick you lunch time destination. This would also be great for parties, you know how hard it is trying to organise a group, everyone has their own ideas, but with this there will be no arguments.
Priced at $4.50.

Check out the toast
You are guaranteed never to have a burnt piece of toast ever again with the transparent toaster from the Concept Studio at Inventables. But before you get too excited the clue is in the company name, this is a concept device and as such does not really exist, unlike burnt toast which does exist.

However the design team are sure that when they build this, it will work, but we are talking about glass and heat, which is not a very good combination.
The idea is sound though because you would not need a settings switch, as you could cook your toast to perfection.

Playing sweet music in China
Now there is not information around about this, but I am thinking that this is going to be Elton Johns place in Huainan, China. Perhaps he likes the Olympics!

But whoever and whatever this building has been designed and built for, it just shows how different the China of today is, especially when you compare to what we know of China in the past.
The buildings are made from what looks like glass, and these instruments are the favourites with almost every Chinese child, so perhaps that has something to do with it.

Passing the time away
When you just have to take you mind off of the job at hand, then this Sudoku toilet tissue might just come in very handy indeed.
The great thing about this is as well, if you make a mistake or cannot get all the answers, whose going to know, after we all know where it is going next!

This is probably not a good idea to have in an office, as the staff will be running competitions and will never be able to found in the office working, but they will be in the smallest office playing this game, the Japanese just think of everything.
Mind you at $16 per roll, the business would be bankrupt after a short time.
