Post-It Pixel Wall

Post-It Pixel Wall 2

This looks much better than the Post-It Wall Bedroom. It’s actually a great way of decorating your bedroom or any other room while giving it some kind of cool “pixel” look.

The greatest part is that you can always re-post-it your wall whenever you feel a need for change in style.

Don’t like your wall color? Write a lot of post-it notes? Like writing on the wall? If you answered yes to any of those questions then maybe you should consider adding pixelnotes to your wall! It’s simple, just get a layer of varying colored post-it notes and stick them in a stack to your wall. Continue sticking stacks to your wall until the wall is covered.

I’d probably stick with a traditional hourglass or my nike watch but this LED project is cool.

The LEDs are arranged in a circular conical fashion, to mimic the glass parts of a traditional hourglass, giving a 3-Dimensional appearance to the electronic hourglass. The system is equipped with a Z-axis accelerometer that detects the orientation of the hourglass and lights up the LEDs in the upper half, simulating the sand at the beginning of a measurement cycle. Subsequently, the LEDs in the lower half blink and light up in a fashion to simulate falling sand.

Check out some pictures of the new swimming center for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China. It looks like a giant watercube, which is what it’s supposed to look like.

“Our ‘Watercube’ concept is a simple and concise square form that ultimately uses the water bubble theory to create the structure and building cladding, and which makes the design so unique. It appears random and playful like a natural system, yet is mathematically very rigorous and repetitious. The transparency of water, with the mystery of the bubble system, engages those both inside and out of the structure to consider their own experiences with water,” says Andrew Frost, Director of Sydney-based design firm PTW.
