iPhone Video Recorder just released!

Click Here to View in Full Screen Mode
Yey, it looks like iPhone Video Recorder is now available.
My friend just started blogging again, please click here and check out his cool blog if you got time.
Check out the features:
iPhone Video Recorder is a powerful iPhone oriented video recorder produced by DreamCatcher. iPhone Video Recorder records audio and video to the compressed mpeg4 format, so the recording is space saving, an-hour-high-quality recording will be a file as small as 60MB. iPhone Video Recorder boasts a frame rate up to 15fps which guarantees better recording performance . With iPhone Video Recorder, recording is easy and enjoyable, you may play back the video, download it to a computer, or send it out by email as you wish.
Due to the great consumption demand on iPhone CPU for dynamic encoding, it is hard to maintain a high frame rate on the fly encoding. Therefore, we turn to a postponed encoding method. You may record now and encode the recording later. The video data is already on your iPhone’s disc, and you may resume encoding when you are convenient. Besides, we offer a few more encoding methods for customers to choose from. On the fly encoding is also available and the sound is good yet the frame rate will be reduced considerably.

(Thanks again David for the interview and your time!)
Etology.com offers a wide range of advertising/publisher’s programs including text ads, banners, thumbnails, and more. They offer a wide range of banner ads, which I liked since I need to be flexible when I am offering advertising on my blog.

The greatest feature about Etology.com is that they allow you to set your own prices for your ads.
For mine, I chose a 125×125 pixel ad, I haven’t put it on this blog yet, but I will do that later this week to test out the effectiveness and also conversion rate of Etology.com.
You can also set your ad to be sold at market prices, which is great since there’s a standard price for the advertisers.
For advertisers, it seems like you will have tough time finding the right site to advertise on as there are so many sites at Etology.com as shown in this screenshot of their marketplace:

But Etology.com does offer personal support so you don’t have to do the work and let the affiliate manager find good ones for you.
Another great thing about Etology.com is that they offer 5% commissions on any affiliates you refer. So you can make 5% of any advertising that your friends sell.
I will be trying out Etology.com for banner advertising on my blog later this week and also a breakdown of all affiliate programs will be given at the end of all AdTech 2008 reviews.
Video Interview at AdTech 2008 with John Chow - 18 Secrets about Blogging and the Internet

Click Here to View in Full Screen Mode
Hi All,
I was over at AdTech 2008 today in Moscone Center, San Francisco. Guess who I ran into? Well, it was kinda planned but at the last minute, I figured to get some advice from one of the world’s top blogger, John Chow, and share some of his secrets with you.
Since he was featured on Entrepreneur magazine couple months ago and he is making $30K+ per month from his blog, I figured I couldn’t lose by asking him couple questions. And of course, share all that great knowledge with you, my readers!
I mean I have read his blog and all, but I think I learned a lot more from asking the questions I had in mind than simply reading his blog. I had a lot of clutter that was kept in my mind cleared away, thanks John!
From what I’ve heard from him today, I think I can start turning this blog into a cash-cow from what is now $1000/month to hopefully around $10K/month by next year. (Hey, Zedomax.com is getting 4000-5000 uniques per day too, maybe it’s time I focused more on RSS instead of simply traffic.)

DIY HACK - 10 Ways on How To En-light-en Your Life with LEDs
This post was guest posted by Joe from HackNMod. (Do you have a tech blog and want to guest post? Send an email to zedomax at gmail.com)
With technology rapidly evolving, light emitting diodes are in virtually every single electronic device on the market. They don’t produce any heat, consume less power, and emit brighter light than conventional bulbs. Furthermore, they are incredibly inexpensive and are easy to solder, allowing any inventor to utilize them with ease.

1. New to LEDs? Not a problem, everyone has to start somewhere. Learn how to solder them, then build a few beginner projects. These three projects are great for anyone just getting into electronics and wiring.

2. Using a standard digital camera and a few infrared leds, you can make your own, high quality Night Vision Security camera for about $5.
Yahoo’s version of Digg - Yahoo Buzz!

Lol…it looks like Yahoo is trying to get a share of the social networking market. Check out Yahoo Buzz, it could create a lot of traffic for your site if you become a publisher.
Check out the About page, sorta very similar to Digg huh? Remember AOL try to do the same thing with Netscape? I think Yahoo would do a little better, possible better than Digg. With all the black market for Diggs, Stumbles, and what not, Yahoo could prove to be the winner in the long run.
Go Yahoo!
- The buzz can be about anything - a great story on a major news site, an extraordinary bit from an obscure site, an intriguing video, or a fantastic blog that shouldn’t be missed.
- Instead of editors, people like you determine the top-rated stories.
- A story is ranked based on its Buzz Score. The score is derived from search term popularity, the number of times a story is emailed from Buzz, and the number of votes a story receives.
- Stories with the highest Buzz Scores may be published on the Yahoo! home page - you can impact what millions will see on Yahoo!
