The Segway by Ferrari
Now this is the sort of Segway that I would like to have, these are actually used by the guy and girls in the Ferrari factory. Just look at those racing style tyres! There are Ferrari logos in nice and neat places, while the body is a nice red finish that could only come from the Italian super car giant.

Of this would be much better if the teams from F1 had little one lap race on these things before each grand prix, it might lighten then all up a bit.

It makes you wonder what these high performance car companies will be producing next.

Some people just their obsessions get too far, and maybe this guy is one those because at first you think that he wants to fly and so therefore is taking lessons. Well that may be so; however the flight simulator that you see in the picture is in his home, in Coventry, UK.

What’s even more spectacular is the fact that this 747-400 flight simulator has been built by hand and is more or less perfect in every way, including the software that will allow the pilot to take off and land at most of the worlds airports.

Looks like Shelto has been updating his internet robot project from couple months ago.
Check out this cool internet controlled security robots made with some CUBLOC PLCs and GPS modules.
We’ve lowered the overall profile and given Turtle (or should it be Tiger), a new paint job. We have also added a GPS unit. The GPS feeds signals to the CUBLOC micro controller which sends the location back to the controlling pc on the internet.

Pre-order yours, it looks like this one’s gonna be a lucky one.
But only if you want to become known as the town eccentric. Clocking up a smug environmentalist’s dream 230mpg and maxing out at 55mph, the hybrid electro/diesel freakshow is available for pre-order now - although it’ll cost around £15,000 for Americans to buy when it starts shipping in 12 months time.
Robot Video - Robot Jockey Racing

Check out this awesome Robot Jockey, I’d say it’s one of the most creative robots ever built.
According to the designer, Martin Buehler, it’s a ”prototype jockey ridden hopping robot that controlled forward speed, hopping height, and pitch balance, the jockey did sideways balance and steering.” I had to read that sentence over about five times before it made sense, you too?
Electrobike Pi - Hybrid Electric Bike

At $7500, I’d probably get a real bike like a Suzuki GSX-R600 but this hybrid electric bike is cool since you can charge it within about 2-3 hours and goes upto 46mph. I wouldn’t want to go that fast in a bike like this though…
This blindingly red transporter “combines the lightweight portability of a bicycle with speed and self-propulsion more akin to a motorcycle,” as it includes a 36-volt pack of NiMH batteries that provides “about one horsepower” to the 58-pound device. The unit can be fully charged “from any standard household outlet in 2.5 to 3 hours and can run for 25 to 30 miles,” and according to a report from the LA Times, the 20mph maximum stock speed can be increased to around 46mph “with a little after-market hot rodding.” Granted, the base price on this thing is said to be around $7,500, so it looks like the most of us will have to stick with the trusty Huffy ten-speed for the time being.
