Looking for a cool way to hack your iMac G4 into a touchscreen computer?  Look no more, here’s a DIY iMac G4 touchscreen!  The author even hacked a Windows 7 into a PowerPC machine, I don’t know how he did that. (I guess you can install Win 7 on PowerPC CPUs???  Will have a post on that soon too then!)

Way cool!

I added the original speakers connected to a Griffin Power Wave Adapter and now I finally have an updated iMac G4 on my desk. It’s connected to a dual booting Windows 7 / Mac OSX Dual Core machine.

Most standard stylus pens won’t work with Apple’s capacitive screens, but this model seems to use the conductivity and flexibility of a snap fastener bound with dental floss to get the right feel and connection. I don’t think Vegas hotels would be switching to touchscreen roulette tables anytime soon but it’s definitely a great product for enjoying the game without chips.

Also doing away with the conventional idea of chips and money-on-the-table, time to run a game cycle is lowered considerably and chances of the dealer to cheat are reduced. Bets are placed with less effort electronically and new possibilities like Repeat Bets makes gambling easier. Also built-in help functions let new players teach themselves the details of the game.
