Space Invaders bags

Posted in Consumer, Cool, Funny, Games, Storage by david on the August 5th, 2007 at 7:00 am

Believe it or not, some people are not very familiar with space invaders and would be highly amused to think that some of us were quite taken by this new technology.

For those who wish to reminisce a little more this bag from DCX Design comes with a full color print of the Space Invaders game, I miss it already.

The bag comes with a shoulder strap and is made from what looks like PVC or something similar.

The iPod Groove Bag

Posted in Audio, Consumer, Gadgets, Storage, USB, mp3 by david on the August 4th, 2007 at 1:00 pm

Eventually there are going be so many accessories for iPods that it will be impossible to remember them all. But this one actually looks pretty cool, even though it resembles a handbag.

groovebag

The iPod fixes into the center and then can be carried around safe and sound, as it has a nice handle to hole the bag securely and yet keep looking cool too.

It is made from faux leather so no worries there for vegan friends; the speakers protrude slightly which may be a problem if they get knocked at all.

Priced at $100.

Media player that can go underwater

Posted in Audio, Consumer, Gadgets, Storage, mp3 by david on the August 2nd, 2007 at 11:00 am

The first question that anyone would probably ask is “Why?” and really watching it underwater does seem a fairly strange thing to be doing. But being waterproof is pretty cool, after all most devices would be ruined with only the slightest drop of water falling on it.

underwater media player

The device is from Chinavision and is the first device of its kind to be able to be taken ten feet deep, which would be great for viewing your underwater filming.

The device has 1 GB of memory, 1.8 inch screen, a battery that will playback three hours of video, (I hope that the oxygen lasts that long!) and it supports, WMV, MPEG, and ASF.

The Tomato Flash microSD memory card reader

Posted in Business, Consumer, Gadgets, Storage, USB by david on the August 1st, 2007 at 9:00 am

This is another one of those fancy computer accessories that can be worn in a very similar way as to what fashion jewelry is.

tomato

You get 4 GB of memory, but it will not support microSDHC memory cars standard, which can be a bit of a nuisance. But as with flash memory all that is needed is a trusty USB port and that is it, your will soon be up and running.

One handy point is that the casing is fully waterproof, which is great if it’s in your pocket when it pours with rain.
