The USB Pizza Drive!

As a former Pizza Hut employee (over 10 years ago), I can appreciate the USB Pizza drive.  But I want a pepperoni pizza, not the weird looking beef and green pizza!

Western Digital Portable 320GB fits in your pocket!

Posted in Computer, Consumer, Gadgets, Hard Disk, Storage by max on the May 25th, 2008 at 4:57 am

It looks like these 320GB passport-size storage beasts are released…in Korea.  Darn it…

Next time your friend goes to Korea, make them get one for you on the black market. (It’s cheaper, you can haggle real low…)

    USB Flash Stick!

I don’t know if a USB flash stick is practical but it’s funny as hell.

For one, I like the natural look of the wood clothespin in contrast to the shiny metal of the USB connection. The other more obvious benefit is that it can be easily attached to anything like a shirt pocket, making it harder to lose when its not in use.

    Battery USB flash drive

Posted in Cool, Funny, Gadgets, Household, Storage, USB by david on the January 8th, 2008 at 7:30 am

This is probably the most expensive battery that anyone would ever buy, but if you look closer you could make out that in fact it is not a battery at all, but a 4 GB flash drive.

    usb batteries

    Features:

    USB 2.0
    Portable and easy operate
    Plug and play
Support Window 98/ME/2000/XP, Mac OS 9.X or above, Linux Kernel 2.4 or above
    Size: 16 x 16 x 63mm (approx.)
    Weight: 26g

    Package Contents:

    USB Battery Flash Drive

This a nice ideal, because if you have some data to hide, all you need to do is store it on the flash drive and place the drive itself into the box where all of the batteries are kept.

    Priced at $38

    DIY solar powered mower

Posted in Batteries, Cool, Funny, Household, Solar, Storage by david on the January 5th, 2008 at 8:00 am

This is probably something that will not end up in the stores, but never the less it is a great idea, with one problem; it takes over forty hours to charge up.

    solar powered mower

This will cost around $699 to build up for yourself, which is made up of the motor at $312, the solar panels at $120 and the battery at $90. It is quite expensive but it is a prototype which if it were to go into full production the prices would tumble.

    The storage ring

Posted in Art, Cool, Design, Food, Funny, Storage by david on the January 3rd, 2008 at 10:00 am

    storage ring

Well this may look like something that would find on side of ship for helping someone who ahs fallen over board, but in reality these are storage devices.

    storage ring

You can see that there is a distinct advantage here with them being on the wall etc, but if you are putting fruit inside of them, then there are two things wrong with that, one is the fruit has to be all the same size and secondly what happens if a piece of fruit goes rotten?
