I will admit that I can hit the golf ball 300+ yards easily but throwing a football? That’s simply not my best skills but here’s how to throw a football.

A) Cock shoulders back while raising ball two to three inches.
B) Drop non-throwing hand from ball to chest level.
C) Release throwing arm into forward motion.
D) While throwing arm is In forward motion, raise ball above head.
E) While completing step two, three, and four, step forward with leg opposite of throwing hand toward target.

In my recent trip to Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas couple months ago, I became of Texans and people there. One of my best friends is a true southerner from Texas, he “loves” the Cowboys, will die to just watch them on TV. Anyways, I’ve been to Texas often but I found that people there are very nice, indeed more nicer than people here in San Francisco where everyone too busy trying to cut each other off.

Anyways, Dallas Cowboys will be setting a world record with their new HD video screen which has total viewing area of 11,393 square-feet, equal to 3,268 TVs!

CYPRESS, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Mitsubishi Electric gained yet another entry in the Guinness World Records book with the recognition of its revolutionary Diamond Vision video boards at Cowboys Stadium as the World’s Largest High-Definition Video Display. The official certificate presentation will take place during a pre-game ceremony on September 28, just prior to the Cowboys vs. Carolina Panthers Monday Night Football game, which will be aired nationally on ESPN.

The world’s first four-sided, center-hung, high-definition video display in a stadium consists of four Diamond Vision(R) LED video screens, with the two main sideline displays measuring 72 feet high by 160 feet wide, and two Diamond Vision(R) end-zone displays measuring 29 feet high by 51 feet wide. Weighing 600 tons, the screens are suspended 90 feet directly over the center of the playing surface and stretch from nearly one 20-yard line to the other.

With a total viewing area of 11,393 square-feet, the Diamond Vision(R) display is equal to 3,268 52-inch televisions, and has 10,584,064 LED lights.

“This was probably the most exciting project we’ve ever been involved with,” said Mark Foster, general manager of Mitsubishi Electric’s Diamond Vision Systems. “The Dallas Cowboys are one of the most innovative teams in the NFL, and their new stadium reflects that. These scoreboards and displays are the realization of the Cowboys’ commitment to their fans and the sport. We are very proud that the Cowboys organization turned to Mitsubishi Electric to deliver their vision as part of this incredible project.”

“We’re extremely proud of our world-class Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Vision screen,” said Dallas Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones. “We have designed everything about Cowboys Stadium to provide an unequalled experience for our fans, and this screen is the centerpiece of what we have created for them.”

Mitsubishi Electric has now been recognized by Guinness World Records five times for its accomplishments, and the Cowboys’ board is the fourth Diamond Vision screen to be honored by Guinness. The first came in August 2003, for the World’s Longest Video Display for the Hong Kong Jockey Club Sha Tin Racecourse in Hong Kong which was installed in August 2003. In March 2005, GWR recognized the Diamond Vision(R) LED display at Turner Field in Atlanta as the World’s Largest High-Definition Television Screen, and in September 2005 the Mitsubishi Electric video board at the Japan Racing Association Tokyo Racecourse was certified as the World’s Largest Television Display. In 1993, Mitsubishi Electric was recognized for designing and installing the World’s Fastest Elevator – capable of traveling 750 meters per minute (approximately 28 miles per hour) – at the Landmark Tower in Yokohama, Japan.

NFL decides to Ban Twitter!

Seriously, I think the NFL executives (or whatever they call the decision makers there) have no brains at all. NFL has officially “banned” use of Twitter by players or their representatives before, during, and after the game. (I would tell the NFL players to start a Twitter revolution. It’s time the players make decisions! After all, NFL isn’t NFL without the players.)

Say it aint so, Ochocinco! One of the NFL’s biggest personalities and one of Twitter’s most engaging celebrities indicated (via tweet) this afternoon that he’ll be deleting his account on the microblogging service “due to the many rules the NFL has made.”

WHY THE HELL WOULD THEY DO THAT?!?

So they can get LESS exposure for NFL? Geez, Twitter has to be the best tool for promoting sports.

I hope they learn their lesson and stop being ridiculous. Boo NFL executives, Boo~ You guys need to grow up and stop squawking and focus on what makes NFL better.

My advice to you NFL executives:

Don’t be a “squawker” or someone who constantly keeps “busy” for nothing important.

Well, my friends and I were partying it up for Super Bowl weekend and we used his medieval bbq grill that was custom-made by his dad’s friend.

As you can see, the BBQ grill can move up and down. They should make this cool BBQ grill into production.

Wow, check out this upcoming HDTV!

You thought the largest HDTV screen war is over? Well! That’s not actually the case! And, before you make any presumptions about Panasonic loosing hold of owning the world’s largest HDTV display for its 103-inchie plasma panel, let me steer you in the right direction! This time Dallas Cowboys Stadium has clinched the title of owning the world’s largest video screen of over 20,000 square feet that earlier rested with Tokyo’s horseracing track.

Remember, back in July, we told you about Mistubishi’s high-definition video screen for Tokyo’s horseracing track that is 218 feet wide and 37 feet tall. Now, the Dallas autorities has shown its love for the football lovers with the announcement of this enormous retractable roof stadium which will not only own the world’s largest video screen which will run from the 20-yard line to the 20-yard line, measuring 180 feet in length and 50 feet in height, but will also hold the title of the biggest domed stadium in the world! There will be eight video boards in this facility to allow fans on all levels to view the game in crisp, clear images during the game. The stadium will see its completion in 2009!

We’ve received word that a respected member of our tech community, James Kim (whom many of you may know as CNET’s senior editor of digital audio), and his family have gone missing. As we understand it, last weekend James, his wife Kati (above right), and his very young girls Penelope (left) and Sabine (baby), drove from their home in the SF Bay Area to Seattle. They were expected back some time Sunday, but were last seen by a hotel clerk at 5:45 PM on Saturday in or between Gold Beach or Portland, Oregon. We sincerely do hope they are all safe, and our hearts go out to the Kim family.

We’ll have more information as we get it. If you have any information as to the Kim family’s whereabouts, please contact the SFPD at 415-558-5508 during normal business hours, and 415-553-1071 after hours.

ZikiWiki is a technology wiki I created for technology. Well, right now I am just posting some stuff for my work but hopefully, it will get bigger and bigger and become a free useful tool for diyers, hackers, engineers, and etc…
Right now it’s in beta testing period, so if you need a place for your information organization, this might be a good place to start.

I thought about how restricted wikipedia was becoming, it’s like a free place that’s not free anymore, but here’s a wiki that is free, at least for now.
