It’d be hard to believe but yes, Sergey Brin and Larry Page made their first 40GB Google Storage Server with lego casing.  Perhaps they might have been great lego-designers if they didn’t come up with Google.

The development of the Google algorithms was carried on on a variety of Computers, mainly provided by the NSF-DARPA-NASA-funded Digital Library project at Stanford. Click to see the equipment in its laboratory setting on the basement floor of Gates Information Sciences. Crawling the web to obtain its link structure required an enormous amount of storage in comparison with typical student projects at that time. We show here the original storage assembly, containing 10 4 Gigabyte disk drives, giving 40 Gbytes total.

Here’s a perfect set of lego sushi, all definitely authentic except you probably won’t be able to dip it in real soy sauce.

Let me guess what these are.  Obviously, the one on the left is a roll with egg.  The center is shrimp sushi.

The one on the right must be tuna sushi, my favorite. (I think it’s called Maguro)

Okay, the one on the right is Ikua Roe.  (Bunch of small orange eggs, real good)

Well, I guess the one on the left is Tuna with some spicy sauce.  (maybe perhaps a Korean-Japanese version)

Beijing Apple’s Outdoor Display was confirmed running off a Windows XP computer.  Now, this is ironic that Apple wouldn’t power their own displays with their computers.

Perhaps, the Windows XP probably saved some operating costs than using a Mac for the purposes of the outdoor display.

Consumers will be confused to whether Apple is promoting Windows XP.  I know I would.  (Maybe Steve Jobs hired some really bad technicians)

The Yankee Stadium security team has recently found sunscreen to be a dangerous lethal weapon.  They are banning all sunscreens from entering the Yankee Stadium.

That’s right folks, make sure to put your sunscreen on your skin before entering the stadium.  If you happen to forget, just be ready for cancer-causing UV rays to enter straight into your pores for 3-4 hours.

Some people have retaliated by suing the city of New York as this new screening process puts most of their dumb citizens (who forget to put sunscreen on beforehand) under risk of skin cancer.

(Nothing is really true in this paragraph, I made some up…)

I think they should really make sure to hire smarter people next time for Stadium security.  Heck, you might as well bann anything liquid at this point, I don’t see how people would bring in C4s packed in sunscreen bottles.

At Yankee Stadium, the security guards confiscating sunscreen. “Five hours in the upper deck with no sunscreen is crazy,” said one upper deck seasons ticket holder. Fans in the bleachers point out in the New York Post that the sun may be a bigger threat than Osama Bin Laden.
