LG Optimus 2X Review!

lg-optimus-2x-review-2

The most powerful and fastest smartphone right now (as I blog this) in this world is the LG Optimus 2x Android smartphone.

I had a chance to play with it at CES 2011 earlier this month and I have to say what this phone can do is amazing.

What can it do?

The LG Optimus 2X possesses power of 2 1Ghz CPUs (Tegra 2 processor), capable of 1080P recording/playback, and best of

Sony NWZ-W252 Walkman Review!

Sony-NWZ-W252-3

Probably the “best” portable MP3 player I owned in my whole, entire life is a Sony Walkman MP3.  I bought it back in around 2006 and it was like a 2GB MP3 player.  What impressed me the most about that Sony MP3 player wasn’t that I couldn’t browse the web on it but the battery life was excellent.  On just 1 minute charge, my Sony Walkman could go for 3 hours on fu

Hanvon Color E-Reader Review!

hanvon-color-ereader-review-3

Future of e-readers?  It’s color.  That’s right, Hanvon intro-ed the world’s first true color e-reader (not LCD like Nook Color) at CES 2011.  This color e-reader uses no power (other than when switching pages) to power their color e-reader and can display up to 4096 different colors.

It’s a pretty slick 9.7 inch device with 1024×600 resolution, certai

3D Hologram Projection Cube – HoloAd at CES 2011!

3d-projection

I had the pleasure of meeting Alan from HackedGadgets.com at CES 2011 and boy, the night before CES 2011, we had a couple too many drinks and I was sick the whole week.  Nevermind that it was nice to see Alan and since CES 2011 is so HUGE, there’s no way any single blog (including Engadget) can cover it all.

One of those if this 3D hologram projection cube by

TouchRevolution Tru Touch (Multi-touch) Monitor Review!

trutouch-monitor-review-3

TouchRevolution’s Tru-Touch multi-touch/touchscreen monitors are one of the best I’ve seen in my life.  These are basically standalone multi-touch monitors you can use along with your existing Windows/Linux computer (or laptop).

In comparison to HP’s touchscreen all-in-one desktops I tried at BestBuy, these Tru Touch monitors are “truly” multi-touch, al

Joby Ori Aluminum Composite iPad Case/Stand Review

joby-ori-ipad-stand-review-3

Joby has been known to innovate in the camera field for the last couple years for their creative Gorillapods (which I highly recommend btw), this year they decided to do something different with their new Joby Ori, an aluminum composite (aircraft-grade) iPad case/stand that can protect your iPad and also position it at various different angles.

I think this is the “best” iPad case

CES 2011 : SCVNGR App At Motorola Booth

SCVNGR (yes no vowels) is a super cool  social location-based gaming platform for mobile phones that is redefining the classic scavenger game! In fact I think the makers calling a “massive experiment” that aims at building a game layer on top of the world is an apt description. Available for iPhone and Android, the game can be played everywhere and the idea is to do challenges to earn points  and real-world rewards. The app is free and the video below explains more about this interactive game. Any guesses who is the good-looking dude behind the sales person?

The Store ‘n’ Go Clip-it USB drive wasn’t the only Verbatim product that piqued our interest at the CES 2011. CES 2011 : Verbatim Store ‘n’ Go Clip-it USB Review

The prosaic paper clip goes high-tech and how. Verbatim is redefining the iconic office tool by converting it into an USB drive. The Store ‘n’ Go Clip-it USB drive has the distinction of being smallest USB flash drive yet and we personally love the convenience it offers. At CES 2011, we got to see the lightweight and diminutive drive in person and as expected it impressed us with its tiny form factor. So when not using the drive to store data you can attach it to documents and folder and brush up your organization skills.
