In the last year or so, 20% of all damaged iPhones in the world have FAILED due to the cracking of its screens. Even Nintendo has added a protective silicon cover for their Wiimotes since they have been crackin’ up HDTVs like it’s no big thang. Well, Apple better do something and put some protective iPhone covers as default otherwise they may be cheating the consumers. (to buy new iPhones!)

Even my Blackberry has been dropped about 50 times in the last 2 years and no screen has broken. Perhaps, iPhone design is great for touch but not so much for insurance against crackin’.

Oh boy, I see a class action suit coming to Apple by angry iPhone owners who’s iPhone screen cracks after 3 months of use… at least it should pay for new iPhones.

A new report from SquareTrade details the accident-prone nature of Apple’s line of smartphones, reporting that over 20% of iPhones have been damaged in the last 22 months. Cracked screens abound.

Windows 7 Hack – How to Run Windows 7 in XP Mode!

Clearly, if you have to run a “virtual” Windows XP on Windows 7, it’s probably simply better to use Windows XP like me, the *middle-adaptor way.

*Middle-adaptor is someone who is between early-adaptor and stubborn people.

But if you must run Windows 7 and tinker with another Microsoft’s junky OS, you can also install Virtual Windows XP, so they will run all of your Windows XP software.

Pointless huh? Microsoft should just start selling XP instead of all the new junk that doesn’t work or even better, make XP better/faster.

It’s like buying a chicken so you can cook your beef inside the chicken as stuffing.

Once the wizard is complete, hopefully you will see a dialog that sets up XP for use, which will take quite a while. If you receive a message that hardware virtualization is not enabled, reboot your computer and check that the BIOS option is enabled, usually found under the advanced settings page.

Uh oh, can we impeach Bush before Obama officially becomes President?

In another nod to his alleged “free-market” principles, President Bush has expressed disapproval of the free nationwide Wi-Fi proposal being considered by the FCC and Congress.

It’s an inauspicious time to decry helpful, even vital democratic initiatives in favor of ideology — after all, many of our most outspoken critics of federal mandate and regulation have ended up looking dogmatic, shortsighted or downright ignorant of late.

But that hasn’t stopped the Bush team from making its anti-populist agenda known. Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez issued an open letter to the FCC this week, stating the administration’s argument against legislation that could lead to nationwide no-fee wireless Internet. The administration hopes to influence FCC Chairman Kevin Martin to overturn the proposal during the FCC’s next scheduled meeting on December 18th.

Well, I just “hoped” that this sign wasn’t actually in America but sadly it is. Never mind who you are voting for, whoever made this sign is world’s most disgusting racist. I don’t see how colored Arabic Obama has anything to do with politics, this is simply plain racist sign that shows how few Americans are still uneducated. If you are going to make a sign, please do not include racist remarks or for anything else for that matter.

Racist = Yes

Free Speech = Yes, only if it’s secretly kept in your garage.

Disgusting = Yes

This is what the creator of the sign says:

Raymond Fine, 74, of West Plains, said the sign is a form of free speech.

My reply, “Yes, and you are a fu(king moron, why don’t you back to elementary school and see how the world is changing? You are still living in the 40s buddy, people like you make our world worse. Please grow up and learn about peace and diversity, not hatred and prejudice.”

As a person who immigrated to America and tolerated many forms of discrimination while growing up and learning English, I cannot say anymore than I’d fight for freedom of the people, signs like this is what causes wars. White, Black, Asian, Arabian, European, Indian, and everyone deserves to be treated equally regardless of color, race, religion, sexual-orientation, hello, this is part of Employeement-law. Heck, I bet the problem is that this guy doesn’t have any Black or Arabic friends.

Well, that’s my 2 cents on this sign, at least I can blog about what is wrong in this country.

AT&T trying to screw up Consumers again, this time with DirecTV!

As if buying Cingular Wireless last year just to get the iPhone on AT&T’s side and providing users with crappy 3G service wasn’t enough, AT&T is now going to try screwing us again with Satellite TV from DirecTV.

As a long customer of AT&T (couple years ago), I am glad I made the choice to never buy or use any of their products until they die a horrible death. Well, literally, AT&T is full of crap and the only reason they are surviving is the fact that their deceptive marketing is so good.

Now, I don’t even like any cable or satellite companies, but AT&T, I do hate with passion. (Yes, only if their customer support team was able to refund all my monies that might change but heck, they are a big giant poop to me now.)

Help my cause and please boycott AT&T at all possible costs. You can buy the iPod Touch, just don’t buy an iPhone with AT&T. (crap, it’s crap, get the G-phone)

AT&T will market and sell a co-branded version of DirecTV’s satellite TV service after Jan. 31, 2009 — a deal that will leave Dish Network without a major reseller partner.

Financial details of the non-equity agreement, announced late Friday, were not disclosed.

DirecTV has similar agreements with Verizon Communications, which markets the direct-broadcast satellite service in areas where it doesn’t offer FiOS TV, as well as Qwest Communications International.

At a lofty $8,400, this Damier Geante Golf Bag by Louis Vuitton maybe the worst golfing investment you will ever make as golf bag design was never a factor in looking good for golf.

Rather, you need a sturdy bag that will live up to rainfall and daily grind.

I know Louis Vuitton makes great handbags but golf bags? Come on guys, you need to do better than this.

This golf bag might be able to fit just half of my clubs but probably too small by tour standards anyways.

Form and function must come together for a good golf bag and if you want to waste some money on brand, go right ahead but I am telling you, this bag really sucks even looking at it.

Windows Vista Mojave Experiment

Microsoft is doing an experiment where they tell people about their new “Mojave” operating system and how cool it is. In the end, MS tells the participants that the “Mojave” OS is actually Windows Vista.

Oh my gawd, this is the stupidest marketing study ever. Why would you “lie” to the consumer to make Windows Vista look good? We all know it doesn’t support 90% of my old computer devices I use and it plain sucks. Yes, maybe there are couple good points but come on, please wasting our time trying to re-market something that simply sucks.

Okay, here’s another stupid video of iPhone 3G blending. Obviously, this one blender company is using all kinds of new gadget devices to make people interested in their blender.

For most, it might be funny, but for a down-to-earth guy like me I think it’s really a big waste of money, time, and of course, a brand new iPhone 3G. Why don’t these guys donate some money to the eco-friendly and green society instead of polluting the environment by blending electronics? (That’d probably get them more marketing than doing stupid blender crap)

Anyways, that’s my 2 cents on anything that you think it’s funny to blend new shiny gadgets. I am sure not all of you’d agree with me but why would I blogging if I can’t speak my mind and truth?

There are bunch of videos on how to use the new Sprint Samsung Instinct but there’s NO VIDEOS on the browser of the Samsung Instinct.

If Sprint is serious about competing with the iPhone (from a marketing perspective), they gotta get rid of all that voice activated live search crap and make some videos of YouTube playing on the phone OR loading Zedomax.com on the browser.

I think whoever is managing the video marketing section of Samsun Instinct need to be fired. That’s what I’d do. Hire someone who’s capable of making good vids.

I personally HATE voice-activated commands because my Blackberry 8830 always ask me, “Say a command” like 10 times a day, it’s annoying and people don’t need voice activated stuff. I wish manufacturers start focusing more on the internet browser of the phone instead of voice activated technology I’d never use.

Great phone + bad marketing, Sprint better get their act straight soon otherwise people will laugh at them. (if they are not laughing now)

A french company has invented a billboard that will display advertisements based on your detected age and demographics…

Man, this sucks… or is it innovation? Great for advertising, too much invasion of privacy in public. LEAVE US ALONG YOU JERKS!

They are equipping billboards with tiny cameras that gather details about passers-by–their gender, approximate age, and how long they looked at the billboard. These details are transmitted to a central database.

Behind the technology are small start-ups that say they are not storing actual images of the passers-by, so privacy should not be a concern. The cameras, they say, use software to determine that a person is standing in front of a billboard, then analyze facial features (like cheekbone height and the distance between the nose and the chin) to judge the person’s gender and age. So far the companies are not using race as a parameter, but they say that they can and will soon.

The goal, these companies say, is to tailor a digital display to the person standing in front of it–to show one advertisement to a middle-aged white woman, for example, and a different one to a teenage Asian boy.

WOw, I can’t think of a best cellphone to use this one, it uses slimmest technology to allow you to talk to your friends without having to resort to using your pockets. The fact that l like this design over traditional wireless bluetooth is that it keeps all that magnetic energy from the cellphone away from your brain. (Yes, those bluetooth headsets are one thing I avoid simply due to how close they are to your brain.)

WEll, the best part really is the fact that it becomes a fashionable gadget instead of simply ending up like a bluetooth-head.
