DIY - How to Make Fabric Wall Art!

Here’s a really cool DIY on how to make your own fabric wall art. I am not an artist but it looks really cool and I think you can apply this nicely to your home.
One of my very stylish friends has assembled several cool stretched fabric panels, which are hung in her home. I love the big, bold statement that this fabric art creates, so when I recently found directions on how to do it, I thought I’d pass it along to you. This tutorial is for a 20-inch-square fabric art piece.
DIY Hand Grenade Mouse!

It seems like some terrorists have made their DIY Hand Grenade Mouse. The greatest part is that it doesn’t blow up.
Pyramid DIY - How to Build a Pyramid!

If you are looking into Pyramid-related businesses (of course, we think all businesses are somewhat a pyramid-scheme), here’s a great article on how pyramids are actually built.
The first theory is that a ramp was built on one side of the pyramid and as the pyramid grew, the ramp was raised so that throughout the construction, blocks could be moved right up to the top. If the ramp were too steep, the men hauling the blocks would not be able to drag them up. An 8-percent slope is about the maximum possible, and this is the problem with the single ramp theory. With such a gentle incline, the ramp would have to be approximately one mile long to reach the top of the pyramid. But there is neither room for such a long ramp on the Giza Plateau, nor evidence of such a massive construction. Also, a mile-long ramp would have had as great a volume as the pyramid itself, virtually doubling the man-hours needed to build the pyramid. Because the straight ramp theory just doesn’t work, several pyramid experts have opted for a modified ramp theory.

Stumbleupon launches its Toolbar-less Browsing Feature!

Stumbleupon launches its Toolbar-less browsing feature, of course, it seems that they have picked on our ideas from SiteHoppin, which is originally based on Toolbar-less browsing.
You can test both out yourself and judge which one is better, I still think my SiteHoppin rocks over SU’s new toolbar-lessness.
Another great news that I should be telling the world is that SiteHoppin will become the first “open-source” platform. (that will be released under GNU license as a MediaWiki extension. You can stay updated on that on my MediaWiki page)
The reason I am going open-source is to open the development of SiteHoppin to the world, just like Google Android, Google Chrome, etc…etc…
Besides that, I don’t have whole lotta time to develop SiteHoppin anymore, it takes me all day to code the site. It would be great if I can share my knowledge to the world and also have other developers contribute to the “knowledge”.
But first, we will be going through an “image” change from beers to something more appropriate. We have been messing around too much and partying it up but we should be back in full-force with some open-source code and official “launch” as we are still in beta for last 10 months.
Camera Hack - How to Add an external battery to the Flash!

Here’s a short little camera hack for those of you having trouble with re-charging the flash by adding an external battery. It might be a hack but it will work if you are shooting photos in long sessions.
If you’ve been shooting with a flash for a while, I’m sure you had some battery problem or another at least once. Like when one of four batteries goes bad and quickly discharges the other three. Or when it’s cold and the batteries don’t hold their charge so well anymore. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could have a more reliable source of power? One that virtually lasts for ever (well, not forever, but for a darn long time).
Automakers get $25 Billion from Bush, God dang it!

Our President Bush, the most miserable failure in history of the United States, decides to sign another bill that will allow automakers to borrow $25 Billion, adding to the national deficit of $700 billion.(or is it $800 billion)
Whatever the case is, this is kind of an outrageous stuff because I would have never voted for this bill to pass. I don’t see how pumping more money into the auto industry will help our economy, maybe create more factory jobs.
While the U.S. banking industry is still waiting for Congress to give it a $700 billion hand, President Bush signed into law last night the spending bill that gives U.S. automakers $25 billion in loans to get their collective act together.
But unlike when a bank deems you worthy of their money, the Big Three won’t be getting any cash for some time. Despite the companys’ CEOs saying repeatedly how they were desperate for help and how automotive life as they know it would end if they didn’t get financial help, there’s at least a 60-day delay until they can cash this check.
This is exactly the reason why our economy is failing and getting worse. Can someone please give George Bush a blowjob tomorrow so we can impeach the day after that? Another miserable failure act from the worst President in history who has his name more associated with the sewer plant in San Francisco than any kind of brains.
