Here’s some great news for Xbox 360 hackers who have been “banned” from modding your Xbox. Sorta complex but I guess it’s doable to unban your Xbox 360.

The new workaround, dubbed iXtreme LT (Light Touch) aims to provide a minimum amount of security checks and aims to make the firmware as close to the stock firmware as possible to prevent detection. This fix may allow modified consoles to return to playing backup discs and other forbidden materials without Microsoft noticing.

Wal-Mart are teaming up with e-Play who will provide machines or kiosks in their stores in the North-eastern States, currently there are seventy seven machines at various locations in New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island.

All the user does is takes the game to the kiosk and can the bar code on the machine, this will generate a quote that the user either accepts or rejects. If the consumer accepts the quote then they simply insert the disc into the machine, then in about two to three days time the money is credited to the seller’s credit card.

First of all, you have ask why? However, as you look at these cool games controllers for the top consoles you suddenly realise that there must be a huge market for this type of product and there is.

The first one is the Xbox 360, this weighs in at 7 oz and is made from Shea butter and scented with mountain dew fragrance oil, these sell for $12. This may look like a controller for the Wii, but in fact, this games controller is being prepared for the Xbox 360 and the PS3, looks like that these remote type devices are finally catching on with other games consoles at last.

These controllers called the Freedom, gives the user an idea of how the Wii player has to react to game play. They do all of the same movements of course it is down the user experience to see if this is going to be any good at all, and the sort of games that are going to be available now and in the future.

Xbox360 Hack – How to Make a Lag Switch!

Here’s a fun way to make a lag switch, it allows you to “cheat” on online games by disrupting the Rx (receiving) channel while the Tx (sending) channels keep working. The other users get a lag while you shoot them basically.

Great idea, but if you need to cheat that bad, you should just keep practicing more instead.

By attaching a physical device (called a lag switch) to a standard Ethernet cable, a player is able to disrupt updates/communication from the server with the intent of tricking the game server into continuing to accept client-side updates (which remain unimpeded). Since the client game-player is impeding the reception of information download, on the client game-player’s side the opponents will slow down or stop moving, allowing the client game-player to more easily shoot them, block them, out-race them, etc. From the other players’ perspectives, the person using the lag switch may appear to be teleporting, invincible, having delayed animations or fast-forwarded game play, or the player may simply find themselves losing to an invisible opponent.

Fortunately, for the rest of us who use the roads this is a real road going car, it has been built as demo for the Game U College Tour, which is travelling around the US, and you could just image the many large the crowds were when this baby pulled up.

Inside the Suzuki are two flat screen monitors, two Xbox 360’s and two projectors, but it is the way that the interior has been designed which is just question which needs to asked. As you can see there is one Xbox embedded into the dash of car and the controls also have rather unique positioning too.

It’s funny but I really think this Obama’s campaign managers are a LOT smarter than McCain’s people. It’s probably due to the fact that Obama’s employees are “younger” (although I can’t prove it), or at least he must have hired smart Web 2.0 guys who play a lot of Xbox360. Add to the fact that Obama’s website gets more web traffic than McCain here.

Anyways, it looks like Obama’s team did some good work with Xbox360 marketing months before the game came out. Check out VoteForChange.com.

Well, I will probably piss some of you off who are McCain voters or non-U.S. citizens but heck, isn’t it time for change?
