Back in the 70s, my dad was an exchange student in Japan for couple years where he had developed a taste for natto, fermented soy beans in Japan. One of his favorite sushi is also Natto Maki, which is a sushi made with natto of course.

Well, these natto fermented soy beans have proven to be great for beating cancer and all types of diseases and plus, I find myself eating these nattos and liking them more and more. Of course, the first time you taste it, it will taste like horse shit but as you keep eating them, they will taste more like eggs or something close to that.

Anyways, nattos are favorite part of my diet now. I can definitely tell you that if I have sour stomach or indigestion, these nattos will surely help and you will get solid and smooth poop afterwards. (That must be good for your health if you poop good.)

If you have a tendency to get colds often or eating habits are poor, you might want to consider start eating these natural foods to get yourself protected against cancer and other types of diseases.

At $1,200 per bottle, it would be surprise at all.

Making your own brew of beers will take some cooling with the use of a wort cooler.(I think)

This home brewer has built his own MASSIVE DIY Wort Cooler, this might be indeed useful for those of you who like to tinker.

A 5 meter length of pipe is filled with dry sand, This is tamped down firmly and then the pipe is capped. I did this by standing on top of my garage so I could reach 5 meters high (over 16 ft) and I then filled the pipe with dry sand through a small funnel! The pipe is then laid out straight somewhere soft (the lawn) and is inserted down the formers central hole. It is then formed around the end of the former either left or right and then wound around the formers outer surface following the spiral guide tape (blue) The diameter of the former, the pitch of the spiral and the number of turns in each coil is up to you. My coils are 6″ internal diameter, 2″ pitch on the spiral and 8 turns on the coil

Food Hack – How to Make Sukiyaki!

Sukiyaki is a Japanese Beef stew filled with vegetables such as mushrooms, cabbage, and more plus some noodles of your choice. My mom used to make a bunch of this as Sukiyaki great for eating while cooking the stew itself with a portable burner.

Every once in awhile, I make this too.

First, you will want to make the soup, simply boil some water and add about 1/4 cup of soy sauce, maybe couple teaspoons of sake and sugar until the soup tastes just right. If you have had Sukiyaki at a Japanese restaurant, you will know what to do here.

After making the soup, bring the pot to about medium and start adding some of your favorite vegetables. You can get kinda creative here as Sukiyaki will take almost any kind of vegetables and make it into delicious, edible food.

Also start adding some noodles and thin slices of beef. (For the best slices of beef, head to your local Korean/Japanese market, they should have super-thin slices that will cook literally within seconds of dumping it in the Sukiyaki pot.)

You don’t have to add everything in the beginning, try to keep adding a little bit of everything when you run out. And yes, it tastes best if you try to eat while cooking, you can buy a cheap portable burner for like $20-30. I wouldn’t recommend trying to make Sukiyaki then eating it, you are not going to have as much “fresh” taste and that’s not the point of Sukiyaki. Well, if it’s just for one person, you, that might be okay though.

Whipped cream is probably the single most important cream thingee when it comes to eating pumpkin pie. (for me) Without whipped cream, pumpkin pie wouldn’t taste like a pumpkin pie.

According to WikiHow:

“Whipped cream” from a can is neither whipped nor cream. Whip up the real thing yourself either by hand or with an electric mixer, and the fresh taste will keep you from ever going back to the spray-on variety.

Does that mean all that nitrous oxide you have been inhaling isn’t from a real whipped cream? Probably, not only does “real” whipped cream really “whipped”, there’s no side-additives like nitrous oxide to make you feel all bloated and high.

Do you have empty boxes laying around work? Do you sometimes feel the need to make something cool like a solar oven?

Well, if you’ve answered yes to both questions, you are in luck as you can try making one of these really cool solar ovens, all from parts you can get free from work! Of course, don’t get fired doing this as your boss might see it as waste of time but if your line of work is science/technology related, you might be able to get by.

This DIY solar oven has been tested up to 120 degrees fahrenheit, enough to cook you some nice “natural” pizza using the power of the sun. Of course, it will take about an hour to reach that temperature so you might have to plan accordingly.

Just because there so many different vampire shows on the TV that does not mean that, the fans have to mimic everything that occurs on these shows. However, obviously there are some people who think either that they are vampires or just wish to be.

Therefore, it seems as it goes in True Blood, artificial blood or a blood substitute is now on the market, it is called The Blood Energy Potion and of course, it is not blood or True Blood, it is in fact an energy drink, which is what True Blood is. Save you having to buy pink and blue candles for celebration cakes why not go for a theme style, such as these explosive candles, these are shaped in the same way as you would expect dynamite and bombs to have and been carefully coloured in order that there be no mistake what these are supposed to represent.

Of course, you do not have to use both designs as just one style would be fine and get the laughter going. But the question is just how long the fuses are, we know that they are not going to explode, but not everyone else is going to know that, are they!

Food Hack – How to Make Pesto Sauce!

The first time I encountered Pesto sauce was while working at Pizza Hut back in high school. Ever since then, I have been addicted to the taste of a Pesto pizza. It’s probably one of the best sauce alternative to regular tomato sauce used for pizzas.

Anyways, someone at Instructables has written an extensive tutorial on exactly how to make this pesto sauce. I don’t know what else it’s good for but I know it’s pretty healthy sauce so you should try it next time with some bread or even pizza if you know how to make pizza.

Serve it on pasta, with eggs, with cheese, on crackers, with chicken or fish, worked into pasta or tortillas or with just about anything else that needs fantastic flavor. I recently ate some marinated artichoke hearts that had been tossed in pesto – they were excellent.

Food Hack – How to Crack an Egg!

Believe it or not, the guys over at About.com show you the “right way” to crack on egg by cracking it on a flat surface instead of edge of a bowl like how I do it.

It’s interesting to note that some people probably don’t know even how to do that yet.

Don’t worry, if worse comes to worse, use my method is to crack the whole egg and use the shell too like Nick Vujicic, I am sure shell has some great protein.

But in short, it’s best to crack an egg on a flat surface like a cutting board, not on the edge of a bowl. Why? Because cracking an egg on the edge of a bowl can drive any bacteria or other contaminants on the shell’s surface into the egg itself. Cracking an egg on a flat surface is less likely to do that.
