For one, I know heated clothing can come in handy in heavy snow, especially if you live in states where it snows a lot.

Secondly, I think it’s a great idea to have a spare battery and some heated clothing available just in case you get stuck in snow for couple days. If you live through such a winter in your area, this DIY heated clothing could even save your life someday.

There’s a LOT of thinking involved in making this heated clothing but I will let you read all about it here.

This is for those motorcycle riders, who like me, don’t know when to quit and can’t afford store bought heated clothing. I’ll show you how I made my pants, but the same can be done for a jacket or whatever else you can think of. I made these last year during the middle of a road trip to battle the bitter cold, and it worked wonderfully.

Could this be the most expensive belt in the world? At $250,000, you would think so, so why is this belt so expensive?

First up it is a Gucci belt fair enough but that still doesn’t do it, so it must be the thirty carats of flawless diamonds that are placed very carefully no doubt into the Gucci logo belt buckle. There is no argument there, I do not know what the price of diamonds is at the moment, but clearly, $250,000 actually puts this belt off my Christmas list.

I’d been toying with the idea of making a mini arcade machine for my game room, so I decided to come up with one that I could also wear as my costume. What follows is a guide to making your own wearable Pac-Man that guarantees you’ll be the life of the costume party. It’s fun to build and to wear. And I’ve since converted it to a bar-top arcade machine, so this costume can play long after the Halloween parties are over.

This one’s for all those ladies out there who have been traveling often, learn how to make/recycle hotel magnetic key jewelry! I know most hotels throw away millions of these plastic magnetic keys on a daily basis, here’s a great way to help the environment while making you look more beautiful.

We cut the cards into various small shapes. I then used a leather punch (because it was handy and I didn’t feel like messing with the drill) to make holes in the top of the shapes. We then attached the jump rings and ear wires with needle nose pliers. Voila! Custom jewelry!

Wow, I just received TokyoFlash watches from Paul over at TokyoFlash in Japan. (Thanks Paul btw!)

The TokyoFlash Rogue LED digital watch was my first choice for looks regardless of the prices.

My first impression?

Quality craftmanship, these TokyoFlash watches look very “durable” and everything on the outside is made with Stainless Steel.

I’ve bought many LED digital watches before, including the Nike watch I covered last year, but this IS the best LED digital watch I have worn.

Especially when you consider the price tag of $180.32, this is probably the best investment for your watch. (FYI, I paid $250 for my Nike watch which comes with a rubber wristband, the wristband broke after only a year and now it’s worthless.)

This TokyoFlash Rogue LED digital watch is actually pretty easy to read, just looks very complicated but I got used to it within just couple hours.

Once mastered, navigating the time is simple, but creates a sense of mystique to the uninformed. The outer ring of small dots represents minutes, every fifth dot being slightly smaller to distinguish five minute groups. The ring of large blocks represents rough minutes, the position of the gap indicating approximate minutes. The inner ring of blocks represents hours, the position of the gap in the ring showing the current hour as on a clock face.
