DIY Phone Dial Web Browser!

This has to be the most wackiest DIY ever, a phone dial that let’s you browser the web via IP addresses.
Well, technically, you won’t be able to surf the web with this phone dial unless you can remember IP addresses of every website you visit but still is a cool project.
Let’s just say this DIY is more of an artwork than it is a practical thing to make.
Our relationship with technology is quickly becoming analogous to our relationship with fast food. Like the fast food restaurant chain McDonalds, information technology (e.g. the internet) seems to be everywhere. We expect it to be fast, and collectively value convenience and efficiency over elegance and craft. In the Phone Dial Web Browser, I ask how we might bring beauty and appreciation for craft back into our interaction with the now commonplace, pervasive web browser.
Enter Key Doorbell lets your neighbors wonder…

Here’s a funny design for a doorbell, an Enter Key Doorbell straight off a regular keyboard. (or is it a MAC?)
Created by Li Jianye, this doorbell takes its inspiration from one of the most famous keyboard keys ever - “Enter”.

DIY - How to convert a DIN Keyboard into a PS/2 Keyboard!

If you have been using computers since the early 90s or even before, you probably have couple of these DIN keyboards lying around.
Here’s a DIY that will show you how to solder on a PS/2 style cable to your old DIN keyboard so you can re-use it again.
This instructable is for anyone out there with a perfectly good older style din 5 keyboard that they just can’t seem to throw away. With a little work you can save something from the land fill. Sure you could just buy an adapter cable but that wouldn’t exactly be recycling.

Das Keyboard - An Empty Keyboard that let’s you learn to become great at Touch Typing!
Here’s an innovative way to market your keyboard. Save money by not printing the characters and market them by telling people this empty keyboard will help you become a Touch Typist.

Lol…regardless, it’s a great product.
Their marketing statement:
Whether learning to touch-type or already a touch typist, within a few weeks, you will memorize the character locations and you will be touch-typing like a pro without looking at the keys. It works each and every time. If you want to take your typing skills to the next level, Das Keyboard Ultimate is the keyboard for you.
Oversized Font Keyboards!

Frankly, I’d rather see multi-national characters fit into the keyboards but here’s an oversized font keyboard if you need one.
The Oversized Keyboard is actually more of an oversized keycaps product, but nevertheless it’s still a useful product if you’re finding it tricky reading those tiny letters and numbers. Right now the Ferret keyboard could do with *any* letters in places, never mind large ones. Still, it’s fun guessing which is which when you’re blogging in the dark. $19.98.
