Wow, this is awesome! Nintendo DS scratching for DJholics.
DScratch is the first module made using my Protein engine - it’s a little audio manipulation software running on Nintendo DS, which ables you to play with an .wav audio sample, a recorded audio sample or even audio streaming from DS’s embedded mic; you can pitch, scratch, rewind, mute and apply effects on the sound. Moreover, DScratch sends MIDI through wifi connection, which ables you to control external applications, like a VJing software or audio sequencer, and can be motion-controlled.

This has got to be the tighest phone I’ve seen in awhile. The CECT WRIST watch phone is a cellphone, Mp3, video media player, has a keypad, support for bluetooth headset, and other cool features all tapped into one wrist watch.

80s Music Vest - Were people that dumb?

Lol…this is a proof of how stupid people were back in the 80s. Marketing is everything.
Well, people were probably too smart and this company probably went out of business.
Montegiro Lusso Turntable
Here’s a beautiful turntable for only $47,000. I bet we will see it at clubs soon.
One of the most incredible looking turntables I’ve seen is the new Lusso from Germany’s Montegiro. The Lusso features three height adjustable connected cones made from alternate layers of aluminum and black acrylic, and a central inverted cone that supports the aluminum and acrylic platter.

Opera Wireless Earphones are easier than Bluetooth

I admit to having a very expensive Motorola S7 Stereo bluetooth headset that I never use because I lost the disk for it and there’s no way to download the drivers on Motorola’s site. (Motorola is stupid on the web…)
(Maybe I should give it away, I did pay almost 200 bucks for it. What a useless piece of technology…)
Here’s Opera’s Wireless earphones that doesn’t work on bluetooth but it works on its own radio signals.
By having this simpler setup, people will be able to use it for other devices instead of having to rely on bluetooth technology. (Which sucks for long distance anyways)
Sometimes, simpler is better.
SEOUL, Korea (AVING) — <Visual News> DigiFi(www.digifi.kr) rolled out its wireless over-the-ear style ear phone with iPod adapter ‘Digital Opera S1′ in Korea market, which is based on Kleer’s wireless technology.
Kleer’s point to multi-point Listen in technology enables up to four people, each with a set of Opera ear phones, to simultaneously listen to the same audio stream.
“Kleer’s wireless audio semiconductor design enabled us to fulfill our vision to deliver to our customers a low-cost, CD-quality wireless earphone that combines ease of use with over 10 hours of play time,” said Park No Young, CEO of DigiFi.
DIY USB Sound Card needs no XP drivers!

Here’s a great USB DIY Sound Card that NEEDS NO XP drivers. It’s plug-N-play. For a DIY project, very impressive and everyone should make their USB DIY “driver-less”.
Make a sound card is no more a complex issue. If you use great IC PCM2702 from BURR BROWN / Texas Instruments you can create a fully functional USB sound card. This sound card can be powered from USB port and has one stereo output. You dont need to install any driver for Windows XP and Vista, because they are already inside. This is really plug and play.
Few months ago I have seen USB sound card called Alien DAC. The construction on the project web page inspired me to build this thing also.

DIY - How to Make your own Invisible Shelf!
Here’s a cool way to make your own invisible CD shelf. It makes you think, “Why didn’t I think of that before?” The only bad part is that you have to drill holes in your wall but if you don’t rent, it’d be no problem.

DIY Hard Disk Drive Drum Machine!

Wow, this is awesome! This guy is serious about recycling. The hard disks are connected to his MIDI system and are all coordinated to play drums. Well watch the video after the jump to see it in action!
Fibra from Belgrade has created an interesting drum system. It uses old hard drive read/write arms as drum hammers. The original hard drive voice coils are used to move the arms. The picture above is the new system which doesn’t seem to be documented yet, have a look at the video for a demonstration of the first version. If you need a larger hard drive project fix have a look at these hard drive projects.
