Symbian Belle Video – Nokia’s New Mobile OS! [MUST SEE]

Above is the video of Nokia’s latest mobile OS, Symbian Belle, which “finally” does a lot of things that other smartphones do already. The video is in French but we can see clearly from the video that Nokia has finally stepped up and did something about their losing shares of the mobile market.

Of course, this doesn’t mean Nokia is going to pick up raving fans like Android or iOS just yet but it does look very promising.

Nokia who? Sorry, there’s a company that makes cellphones called Nokia for those of you who don’t know.

Nokia E7 Officially Coming out this April

The Nokia E7 is officially headed to the UK next month, further saturating the existence of the device which had initially been released in select European countries. However through its official UK website, the Nokia E7 can be pre-ordered and will reportedly be pre-ordered in no less than 14 days.

For pricing, the Nokia E7 will be offered for £499 SIM-free, £469 on Pay As You Go, or for free on contract, on plans starting at £3

Nokia to produce cheap WP7 Phones Quickly

In relation to the reported partnership between Nokia and Microsoft, Nokia CEO Stephen Elop bared that they intend to produce inexpensive Windows Phone 7 units quickly. With the official agreement expected to be out in the coming months, this seems to be the new direction of the Finnish company.

The Finnish company’s stock dropped more than 20% and many Finnish employees unhappy with the decision took a voluntary day off when the deal

Nokia Employees Stage Lunchbreak Protest on WP7 Deal

While many cheer the reported deal between Nokia and Microsoft, it seems the Finnish company’s employees are taking it the wrong way. With mixed reactions, Nokia employees reportedly stages a walkout of sorts during their lunch break in protest for the said deal, fear that they may lose their job/s due to the partnership.

Nokia N9 To Run On MeeGo?

Nokia is all set to release the N9 in a new avatar and maybe its me but the design for some reason reminds me of the Macbook Pro especially the chiclet  keyboard! While Nokia hasn’t officially released any information about the device, one is expecting a February release. The smartphone is rumored to be running on  MeeGo and an  Intel 1.2GHz Atom processor. The  slider phone will also have Moblin and we think its the right time for Nokia to bid adieu to Symbian.

If you were a Nokia loyalist and dreamt of owning a Nokia E7 around Christmas, well we  have some bad news. The Powers Of Be at the Nokia have confirmed that the Symbian-powered E7 slider smartphone won’t be releasing around December as speculated earlier.
