Charge your gadgets with water
This is the new PowerPukk battery charger, it is the creation of the Swedish firm myFC and it uses a clever sodium silicide cartridge system that only requires water to produce power for the built in fuel cell. Once fully charged this device can then charge the battery of Smartphone, giving around ten hours of stand by power.
Still not convinced about this PowerPukk water based charger, here is how it works;
Remove tray system and insert fuel pack into fuel compartment of your PowerTrekk mobile charger
Fill-up water compartment (approx. one tablespoon) and close lid
Re-attach tray system to your mobile charger
Connect electronic device to the PowerTrekk, using USB-A connector
A mobile charge will start automatically
While in use, PowerTrekk indicates state of operation. Once your mobile charger is in shutdown mode, remove used fuel pack
When it goes on sale, it is likely to coast around $250 and spare sodium silicide cartridges could cost around $4 each.
