The Steel Series 7H Fnatic Limited Edition headset

Sometimes I worry about limited editions as they are usually the same as the normal edition but may with a flash of colour etc and a price hike for the pleasure and it seems that could be the case here. These limited edition headsets are not that much different from the standard variety and yet the normal price is $70! Sure, the limited edition has dynamic drivers and cool look cushions, but is that enough for the gamer, probably!

According to Kim Rom, who is the Steel Series Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) he said;

“We sponsor and work with a number of incredibly talented professional players and are proud to say that the Fnatic team is part of that family,” – “We have been supporters and collaborators with, as well as fans of, the talent that makes up the Fnatic squad for a long time now. We felt that it was the perfect time to introduce co-branded peripherals – that their players helped us design, regularly use and win with – to their immense and passionate fan following.”

Gaming in the bathroom

Here is an interesting if not slightly disturbing idea from the Exhibit Bar in London (Where else?) where going to the loo, can mean spending longer than anticipated as gaming takes on a new and not very tempting location to get your game on.

These urinal games consoles are the idea of Captive Media, which certainly lives up to its name! The games are very basic but have the unique control system, simply aim and fire, moving from side to side to alter the direction and to make just a little bit worse, you can post your result on the games Twitter feed!

Retro gaming DIY kit

Take a step back in time to when the ultimate in hi-tech gaming was two vertically moving paddles and puck, this is gaming 1970′s style and you know, it’s quite exciting too because you get to build it yourself. Once completed you get to test it out by connecting to your TV, how cool and retro is that?

Here are the details on the Classic Video Table Tennis Kit;

Now however you can cobble together your very own Classic Video Table Tennis Game with a little determination and some basic soldering skillz. This kit contains a pre-printed circuit board and 39 various resistors, diodes, and capacitors. Solder everything together (following the instructions we hope) and plug the audio and video into any standard TV for instant Table Tennis action. You can play against another lowly human or challenge the computer at four different skill levels.
