U.S. Cellular Slashes Galaxy Tab Prices to $200

U.S. Cellular announces its own version of greeting you Merry Christmas, announcing that the Samsung Galaxy Tab will be offered for $199 which requires must include a 2 year 5GB data plan contract that costs about $55 a month.

The price off is a big discount for the Galaxy Tab which originally costs $499. Although the $55GB deal may sound a bit steep and tricky, this is perhaps the best deal you can get right now for an alternative tablet compared to the iPad. The Galaxy Tab features a 7” capacitive touch screen display and comes powered by a 1GHz processor.

It also has a front and rear facing camera and runs on Android 2.2.
