When you think of solar power, you would usually think of sunny places it stands to reason you might think! So where would the world smallest solar powered movie theatre be located, southern Europe or even Australia!
Well not exactly, because one of the founders of the arts group Undercurrents, Paul O’Connor has come up with this mini solar powered movie theatre to tour the UK, yes the UK and surprisingly enough despite the slightly damp climate, Mr O’Connor says that they are able to run the Sol Cinema with all its equipment entirely on solar energy.
So far, the theatre has shown over four hundred movies this year and in 2011, they are planning a tour of Europe and possible LA too!
