Viewsonic has officially released its ViewPad 7” Tablet in the U.S., available from EXCaliberPC.com for about $479.00. The ViewPad Tablet already made an appearance before and thus adds another potential Android run tablet for the ones into the tablet frenzy buying thing.
Among the features of the Viewsonic ViewPad tablet include a 7” 800 x 480 capacitive touch screen display, a 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 processor, 512MB RAM, 512MB of flash memory, a full-sized SIM card slot, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), a back-facing 3-megapixel camera, a front-facing VGA camera for video calling, a G-sensor, A-GPS, 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth. The tablet will run on an Android 2.2 Froyo OS.
