Wireless Broadband Enabler Ships

The UK based start up, Deltenna have begun to ship their wireless broadband enabler or WiBe, so what does this WiBe have to offer! Basically, it is a 3G modem that has been rigged up to a wireless network.

Now I know what you are thinking! This is nothing new there are plenty of portable personal hotspots around, well yes there are, but this is not portable the WiBe is a fixed device that can easily deliver around 2 Mbps broadband to rural areas.

All the user needs to do is place a mobile broadband SIM card into the device and position it where it can pick up a signal, that’s it job done! Oh, there is the little matter of the $700 price tag!
