Sometimes when a company uses the word “Smart” before their product it is a case of clever marketing rather than the product actually being smart. But with the iPad battery smart case, this really is smart, once connected this device sends a signal to the iPad that makes sure that the battery in the device is used up first, saving the iPads on board battery for last.

This product can increase the power by around 200 per cent, which is excellent really as the actual iPad battery is said to last around ten hours, although that clearly depends on what the user is doing with the device.

These are the specs and details of the iPad battery smart case:

Featuring an interchangeable battery pack and patented Touch-Thru™ glass screen, this case offers a sleek appearance, flowing curves and non-slip grips. The SmartCase™ sends a signal to iPad to drain the case’s power first before using the iPad’s battery, which increases iPad’s battery life by 200%. The case offers complete coverage for superior protection against impact, shock, dirt, dust, and scratches; plus the screen offers full touch sensitivity.

Priced at $99.95
