It has been on the cards for while and now finally it has been launched or demonstrated anyway at the developer’s conference.
The user will be getting to choose between a set top box or following deals with Samsung and Sony, we can expect to find Google Smart TV already installed into new televisions.
Basically, this is just another way of connecting the TV to internet; it’s similar to use the HDMI cable between your laptop and the TV to watch YouTube videos.
The difference with the Smart TV from Google is that all of the technical stuff has been done for the user, just connect and search for your favourite TV show and smart TV does the rest, it will even store favourite channels for easy access.
