This device may not look like much but it is in fact the winner of the 2010 Innovations Award at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), so this is something that is quite interesting before we even know what it is!
So this is a dock for the iPhone, it acts a speaker and alarm clock with a flip clock display that has to be downloaded from the Apple iTunes store.
Here are some of the details of the iPhone Flip Clock Dock:
It requires only downloading the iLuv App Clock application for free from the Apple website onto an iPhone and docking with the speaker. Rotating the iPhone vertically or horizontally automatically switches the screen. It displays the weather and date, and plays alarm sounds (also from an iPhone’s music library). The built-in speaker provides robust, clear sound. An auxiliary input accommodates other audio devices (requires 3.5mm cable). Includes AC adapter (or works with six AA batteries; not included).
