How to Trace an Email Address using an IP address

Sometimes I get emails from people I don;t know or trust and I want to know a little more about the sender. One way to do this is trace the IP address associated with the email address. How? Just run it through an IP program or site. Here is a short walkthrough on how to trace an IP address or email address:

   This is built-in on Mac machines, of course. Go to the Utilities folder, click on Network Utility, then use its TraceRoute feature.
