This is a sort of personal transporter for the older person or the rider that is not a steady when it comes to balance as they used to be.
It follows the model of the famous Segway, but in reality is a mobility scooter without the seat, so that the user has to stand while operating the vehicle.
Features of the personal electronic transporter:
It is powered by two 500-watt electric motors housed within the hub of each 16″ drive wheel that provide forward and reverse motion. Balance and steering are provided by two trailing 3 1/2″ wheels. Speed is controlled at the handlebars; a hand-brake provides confident stops. The steel-reinforced deck is covered by a rubber pad that ensures reliable footing. Its handled basket easily slides on and off its bracket for easy toting. Includes a headlight and horn. It conveniently folds to less than 18″ high for easy, out-of-the-way storage. From a one-hour charge of its battery, it propels riders up to 350 lbs. for up to 20 miles. 51″ H x 26″ W x 28″ D. (110 lbs.)
Priced at $1,995.00
