The Rise of The Machines

It is true that out world could not function with robots, as they work away in factories churning out products day and night without any complaints, but what happens when they are given more responsibilities and more processing power, just when is the point where robot becomes the master?
They that this would never happen and yet we see companies bringing out more sophisticated robots all of the time, such as this segway type robot.
