Robot DIY – How to Make a Drumming Robot!
I have some love for drums and drumming in general just because my dad decided to pick up drums couple years back. He just turned 60 but I guess age never slows anyone down for trying new things. As always, I like doing things my dad does, so I bought a set of my drum sticks. (no drums yet, I actually have a whole set in a storage somewhere, there’s just absolutely no room in my apartment to put it anywhere which is why I am moving.)
For those of you who love drums but can’t enjoy it due to your living space, you might as well make one of these drumming robots that will entertain you by playing programmed beats. Why not?

About a year ago I started building a robot, and while I was building I saw the yellow drum machine (really liked it frits!) and decided to change my robot into a drumming robot. So I added 2 drumsticks and a doorbell that was laying around here that I used for some ticking sounds
And an extra servo which can moves the drumsticks up and down so that the robot has free visibility
so thats total 9 motors/servosIt uses 4 modified servos to drive around, navigating by using 1 IR sensor on his head.
