A lantern like the type that you would use for camping is an invaluable tool providing light and security. So the last thing that you want is for the lantern to run out of oil, which is lucky that this lantern uses just four “D” class batteries and will provide continuous light for up to fourteen days.

That is of course almost a month’s worth of light, because you are not going to leave it on during the daytime hours, unless you find yourself living in a cave or underground.

Features of the long lasting lantern:

Its cylindrical design provides 360º of unimpeded illumination, and the bulbs produce almost no heat, making the lantern safe for children and uninteresting to insects. The lantern has a durable waterproof case and it will remain buoyant and operational if dropped in water. An integrated handle ensures ease of portability and can also be used to hang the lantern for hands-free lighting. Requires four D batteries. 12 3/4″ H x 6 1/2″ Diam. (1 3/4 lbs.)

Priced at $69.95
