Shapeways, a company that lets you print 3D images into real life physical forms.  They will be over at CES 2010, so if you are going to be there, make sure to check ‘em out!

While you’re in Las Vegas attending CES (January 7-10, 2010), we invite you to stop by the ShowStoppers @ CES Event (January 7, 2010, the Wynn Hotel, 6-10 p.m) and checkout Shapeways at table C5.

Shapeways allows creative people with various levels of 3D modeling software skills, from none to very experienced, affordable access to the latest 3D printing technologies and the ability to create their custom-made designs in a variety of materials. Until now, designs created at Shapeways.com existed in stainless steel or a single color plastic, black, grey or white, which could be dyed in a handful of single, solid colors. Now, items can be created in Full Color Sandstone.

Samples of full color 3D printed objects created at Shapeways.com will be previewed at ShowStoppers @ CES for the first time. We hope you’ll be able to come by and see them first-hand for yourself.

I will be at the show and if my time allows, I will make sure to make a video about this.
