Max’s Note – Here’s a great way to send live images back and forth using wireless digital photo frames, might be a good idea as a security camera or for your elderly parents.  Thanks Jake, for the info!

This post/video demonstrates how to make a Live Digital Picture Frame. Basically a webcam is used to send live images to a wireless digital picture frame (via Yawcam, an RSS feed and Framechannel.com). These images can be sent to frames anywhere in the world. It can be used for everything from a baby monitor to a security camera. Along the way it demonstrates how to extend a USB cord and how to solder without a soldering iron. Its a simple yet cool project that any tech savvy person could do.
