If like me you like the idea of having a little bit of outside light, but are not too keen on the idea of having them plugged into the mains then maybe solar is the way to go.

This is a set of fifty white LED lights that are battery powered via an integrated solar panel, this means that you can place these lights anywhere you like provided they get a bit of sunlight, which counts me out because in the UK we don’t get to see the sun until Easter!

Features – The solar panel stakes into the ground and detects darkened conditions, which activates the LEDs. The 20′ length of the LED cord allows you to adorn trees and lamp-posts during the holiday season, and deck railings during warmer months. The batteries store enough solar energy to provide up to nine hours of light, and the LEDs are rated for 10,000 hours of operation. (12 1/2 oz.)

Priced at $29.95
