Sonar DIY – How to Make Sonar-Like Radar Visualizer for an Ultrasonic Scanner!

Good morning!  Here’s a rather interesting DIY that shows you how to make a sonar-like radar visualizer for an ultrasonic scanner.  Now, I think this could easily be applied to other types of scanners including infrared, radio, etc…etc…  Great!

First things first, we need to build our circuit. This is the easy bit! We’ll be using the Arduino to control a servo that will rotate our sensor around 180 degrees. The Arduino will then send the value from the sensor along with the current angle of the servo to the serial port.
