With advances in radar/laser detectors that can detect cops from miles away, police officers have been using radar/laser guns that are more sophisticated so they cannot be detected with some of the older radar/laser detectors.

Of course, my advice is just to drive slow enough that you don’t get tickets. In my experience, cops don’t give you a ticket unless you are going at least 15MPH above speed limit and perhaps driving a bit crazy such as weaving in and out of lanes or cutting off other innocent drivers for no reason.
