Hair DIY – How to Condition Your Hair Using Everyday Kitchen Ingredients!

by max on Sunday, July 12th, 2009

Looking for more eco-friendly ways to condition your hair?  1800Blogger.com has an extensive list of everyday kitchen ingredients you can use to “condition” your hair including baking soda, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, real mayonnaise, salt, and even beer!

Here’s what they had to say on using beer, which was my favorite:

Beer makes is a great rinse conditioner that leaves your hair more manageable.  Simply bring a bottle of flat warm beer into the shower with you.  Wash your hair with your regular shampoo and then rinse with beer.  Rinse again thoroughly with water unless you want to smell like old beer later in the day.

P.S. There’s also many natural herbs Koreans use to condition their hair for centuries, next time I will have to translate one of the articles on it so watch out for that.  Or, I am even thinking of a new blog featuring interesting stuff from Korea, what’ya think?
