Solar panels are cool
It is cool to have solar panels these days on matter what size they are it shows that you care about the planet and are willing to put your hand in your pocket to prove it. Therefore, what does that say about someone who buys jewellery that is mainly made up of small solar panels they must be ultra cool.
That is exactly what designer Mae Yokoyama feels and why she has designed this beautiful looking jewellery made from small yet perfectly formed solar panels. These will charge up during the daytime and illuminate the LED lights within the necklace part of the set by night for around four hours.
