Swine flu means face masks
For some people there does not have to be a global pandemic to encourage them to wear a face mask with out and about, but now that swine flu has come forward as the next virus that could threaten humankind, the amount of people looking for protection has grown significantly.
However, as with many ideas, this one has not been thought out properly as wearers of the masks have begun to personalise them, making them into little pieces of art. The designs have mainly been done on an individual basis and this adds to the personalised nature of this strange and yet exciting form of self expression.
