F1 parts into art

by David Allen on Thursday, April 23rd, 2009

These fish have been developed by the former chief mechanic of the BAR Honda F1 Team, Alastair Gibson. He is using pieces of carbon fibre that may have been on a car, but are more than likely bit that have been over to produce these fantastic looking fish.

These fish form a part of an exhibition called “Racing Mako” which is on at the Chelsea Art Fair at the moment; this style of art gives the public an opportunity to see something completely different, as it blends art and the fast world of F1.
