New Apple Earbuds Review!

I have to say, I am impressed with the new Apple earbuds that Steve Jobs was working on last year, much better than these standard earphones that come with every iPod and iPhone.

As much of an earbud addict I am, I will be ordering two of these today to test them out.

One thing I highly like is the actual inside of the earbuds, seems metallic and hopefully should last longer even if my dog eats it.

Frequency response: 5Hz to 21kHz
Impedance (at 100Hz): 23 ohms
Sensitivity (at 100Hz): 109 dB SPL/mW
Drivers: Custom two-way balanced armature (woofer and tweeter in each earpiece)
Silicone ear tips provide comfortable, stable fit and impressive sound isolation
Control capsule offers volume and playback controls*
Includes carrying case, three sets of silicone ear tips (small, medium, large), and two replacement mesh caps

I might even head over to the Apple Store (which is about 1 minute from my apartment) and grab one to do a quick video review…

I'm not an audiophile however I enjoy my comfort. I use the standard iPod earbuds but I had custom molds taken of my ears so that my iPod earbuds snap into these molds and then I put the mold into my ear which fits perfectly. There isn't anything more comfortable then a custom mold. I purchased the iPod attachments at Earsound. www.earsound.com An unintended benefit is that I was able to use my custom mold with my cell phone's hands free device.
