i got a pair of sony mdr-ex91lp and i have to say i am very disappointed, they just don't have the deep ear rattling bass i love.So its back to the mdr-ex71 which is by far the best bass producing earbuds i have ever had the pleasure of owning...and very crisp treble notes as well. They are so comfortable that you actually forget you have them in your ears.the ex91's have larger drivers but don't even compare to the ex71's in fact the cheap JVC marsh mellows sound far better then the ex91's as long as you replace the sponge tips with some good silicone tips to create a good seal..

thanks a bunch...

Max, they cost me $139 which included the cost of the molds. I saw them on another website with a price close to $139 but in fine print it said that the molds would cost an additional fee. That was the deciding factor for me to use Earsound. The site is www.earsound.com Hope that helps. :)

The only earbuds that I have found to work for me, in terms of comfort, were made from a mold of my ear. I bought from Earsound about a year ago and so far so good. The molding process took about 10 minutes by a hearing aid guy that the company sent me to.
