I have to admit that I have been guilty of watching my dad play the drums on occasions (he bought a whole REAL drum set and takes lessons too) and I myself bought (not drum set) but drum sticks so I can practice in my kitchen while I cook.

Anyways, there’s a bunch of great free sources on how to play the drums, one site I found very helpful was Jared Falk’s FreeDrumLessons.com.  (You can check out his YouTube channel here.)

Of course, what I like most about his videos is that there’s videos for you whether you are a beginner like me or already have some moderate skills.
