Forget about eco bulbs, it is the sound bulb
You can bet that those people pushing the eco bulbs are not going to like these, it is a combination of speaker and light bulb, and of course, there are some great points like no need for wired speakers as this forms part of a surround sound system.
There are no details of range, but it is feasible that they could be all around the home. The volume is adjusted by twisting the unit itself and just in case there are any eco bulb supporters, these units actually have replaceable LED units, which is cool.
