Here’s a really cool mod that shows you how to play doom with your really, really, old Mac display and an iPhone as controller.  Kinda pointless but still, if you have bunch of junk laying around, this might be a great way to spend your free time.

If you’ve gotten excited about this iPhone/TV-out stuff, you can give it a try. Troughton-Smith has released the Doom source as an open source Google Code repository. Here’s what you need to do to put Doom on your iPhone, assuming you’re a registered ($99/year) iPhone developer:
