DeLonghi Portable Air Conditioner

Well, if you live in a cool area like San Francisco, you won’t need air conditioning all year round but if you do live in a hot area, you can bring some extra air conditioning with the DeLonghi portable air conditioner.  Now, air conditioning just got easier.

Of course, if it doesn’t get too hot, you do have the air conditioning chair add-on, which works on much cheaper.

  • 3M Filtrete air filter attracts and captures tiny microparticles of pollen and dust
  • Electronic control panel with LED display; LCD remote control; adjustable thermostat
  • Boost, Sleep, and Smart fan modes; 24-hour timer; caster wheels for portability
  • Measures 16-1/7 by 19-1/2 by 37 inches

  • hi dude...
I like this portable Air-Conditioner (AC).am interested in a Slim Jim from DeLonghi, does anyone know about this product? Can i use a portable A/C to cool off a 24 ft boat at the dock with a small cabin ? the boat cabin gets extremely hot when sitting still and it doesnt have A/C.

I haven't actually tried this DeLonghi one but tried a portable AC similar to it on a house for a small bedroom. The portable ACs take up a LOT of amps. (this one probably around 15amps)

Well, it the end, we had to call PG&E; to get the breakers to 30 amps because the fuse kept breaking.

You might want to check what kind of power support you have on your boat. If it has enough capacity then my advice is to go for it.

But then again, don't blame me if you get stuck in the middle of the ocean as I am no expert on ACs but basic electronics I learned at work and college. :)
