PSP/PS2 HACK - How to Make PS2 DualShock controller to work with the Sony PSP!

Click Here to View in Full Screen Mode

Here’s a really cool hack that shows you how to hack a PS2 controller onto your PSP.

Why would anyone want to do that?

The DualShock controls all of the PSP buttons (except for the volume and backilght) and can turn the PSP on and off. The right analog stick has been modified to copy the face buttons (like the razor nub), and L2 and R2 have been mapped to the left and right D-pad buttons (primarily for use in PS1 games, but useful in others as well). The analog On/Off button is used to power the PSP on and off, and the R3 button performs the Home function. All other buttons are self explanatory.

Griffin PowerDocks can power 2 iPhone/iPods!

Griffin PowerDocks can power 2 iPhone/iPods!

Griffin PowerDocks can power 2 iPhone/iPod devices at once.

What do I think?

I think it’s overpriced at about $50 and useless technology when I can simply use by USB cables to charge both of my iPhone and iPod Touches.

Then again, if you got money to burn, GET ONE!

Does your family own a family of iPod or iPhone models? Can you only find one charger when all of you need to recharge? Call a cease-fire with PowerDock, a charging base where every iPod and iPhone in the house can get together to charge its batteries.

iPong Multi-Player for iPhones!

iPong Multi-Player for iPhones!

Ha, check out this iPong multi-player game for iphones!

iPong is a variant of Atari’s classic paddle ball game, with a multi-device, multi-player twist. Using some clever trickery, players can actually bounce their ball off of their iPhone’s screen onto the display of another phone. While the game can’t actually detect the proximity of the devices at this point, it does appear to store the exit position of the ball on one screen and transmit that as the entrance point on the adjacent screen.

Design - Child Alert Watch

Design - Child Alert Watch

Here’s an interesting concept watch that alerts how far your kids are from you. It seems like a great design and could easily be made with existing technology.

The “Link” Child Locator is a device that takes a page from the movie Alien, in that it allows for the tracking of your spawn as they hide in the clothing racks at your local Gap store. The product has 2 components, a bracelet worn by the child that contains a transmitter module that works at a range of up to 100′, and a watch-style bracelet worn by the parent that receives the child’s signal and indicates its direction and distance on a small LCD display.

The Original \

Isn’t this the coolest wrech or what!

The Handwrench concept by designer Paul Julius Martus has been around for some time, but it has only recently been unearthed to creep us out and pose the question: what is this thing’s primary function?
