The Océ CrystalPoint process converts color Océ TonerPearls toner into a gel. Then this tonergel is jetted and crystallized onto any type of paper, producing water fast high quality images with accurate dot placement. According to the company, this revolutionary technology offers many environmental benefits since its TonerPearls used in tonergel jetting release no ozone, odor or fine powder. Furthermore, it reduces the use of paper coatings that impact the environment by printing an even semi-gloss finish on uncoated paper.
